I still had the receipt so I took it back for a refund. The lady working at the return desk was named 'Trish'. She said that without the hardware, I could not return it. I said "ok, let me just replace it with the same blind and we will take the hardware out of the new box & leave it with the defective blind". She refused to do that also. She had a terrible personality & even kept asking how I broke the blind. I finally just said "Cheap quality". Trish made a simple return of a defective item unnecessarily difficult.
- JAJames AustrengFeb 20, 20263.0Lowe's has really fallen short on customer service and filling their stock whether from their back stock or from overhead overstock. Their prices aren't as competitive or less than their competitors. Their selection and offerings have also dwindled. I have shopped smaller mom and pop hardware stores as well as franchised locally owned hardware stores and have had better service with the prices very competitive wth Lowe's and better stocked, cleaner and more accessible aisles. I'm happy to pay a very slightly higher price for this convenience.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
