    I am employed by JES Foundation Repair and make frequent trips for tools and supplies and love the service from the Pro Desk and Claude especially. Today I was shopping for a piece of exterior carpet for my patio and was greeted by Edwin also from the Pro Desk whom I had not yet met. Edwin listened as I described what I was looking for, took me to the location of rolled carpets that matched my description, answered every question I had and presented exactly what I was looking for. He was very skilled with the cutting machine. Perhaps most of all Edwin was extremely personable, very sharp and made the whole experience truly enjoyable. Good job and thank you.

    Today I visited the Lowe’s on Broken Branch Lane in Manassas to purchase laminate flooring. I was very fortunate to encounter Jonathan V. He went above and beyond to help me. He even took my large and cumbersome purchase to my car and loaded it in. I felt that his customer service was exceptional. Especially in a world where I would rather shop online than deal with the terrible customer service that seems to be the new normal. Thank you Jonathan for restoring my faith in customer service.

    I first went to the Lowes in Woodbridge Va for a Moen Faucet that was on sale, it said they had 3 in stock but couldn't locate them. The young lady who helped me located 5 at the Manassas VA store. We placed a phone call to the Manassas location and they confirmed they had it in stock and pulled one off the shelf to be help at customer service. I was told that the price would be honored at Manassas. I then drove 40 minutes to that location and proceeded to buy the faucet, when I noticed the price was higher I asked for them to price match the Woodbridge store and online price as I was told they would. The first person told me no so I called the Woodbridge store to be told I needed to ask to speak to the manager at the location I was at. They paged the Assistant Manager Cheryl to speak to me who proceeded to tell me that the person I spoke to at Woodbridge and the person we spoke to at Manassas who was holding the item for me was incorrect and they would NOT price match the faucet. This is horrible customer service from Manassas Virginia and from the Assistant Manager Cheryl I would have ordered it online and not wasted 40 mins of time and gas if I would have been told the correct information in the first place. Please know Lowes will NOT price match their own stores or online. Very poor customer service as I work in a service industry myself and if an employee gives incorrect information we make it right with the customer and then make sure we train our employees better in knowing our organizations policies!
