- CHChristopher Hill2 days ago1.0My wife and I had a very disappointing experience using Extra Space storage. We arrived with a small mix of boxes to store with about 15-20 minutes to spare before close. But the bluetooth lock was not working, and the Extra Space app (which is itself buggy) was of no help. Tech support answered quickly, and genuinely tried their best to help. But unfortunately took so long in their attempts to resolve the issue that the building closed and we were locked out of the unit for the night. And this was despite downloading and setting up the app well ahead of time. What was supposed to be a 5 minute in-and-out trip with time to spare before close, turned out to be a 20 minute waste of time at the facility itself, plus wasted drive time, gas, and now the hassle of having to make time to go back another day. Considering the premium cost for this service, much of which is centered around convenience, the app and accompanying bluetooth locks were quite disappointing. The facility is very clean, which I do appreciate and want to applaud their manage for. And the facility certainly seems secure and is in a safe, convenient location. But the difficulty of use and wasted time is hard to look past.

She walked me stepped through step and showed me everything about the Storage Unit made sure that I knew everything about it !
- CECrystal EvansMar 12, 20261.0I wouldn't rent a unit from them because I have a friend had a unit with them and she was putting stuff in her storage unit and her car was broke into and they did not have security cameras at that time and she was told that there was nothing that they could do so when you're trying to secure your belongings in a safe place how safe is it really when your vehicle in their parking lot gets broken into and they say they can't do nothing about it
