    This is hands down the WORST Lowes I have had the displeasure of doing business at. Out of the hundreds of Lowes I have visited in this country, this one is by far the most poorly managed and hires the most inept/“couldn’t care less” employees. Don’t waste your time or money here.

    My husband and I ordered a Samsung washer on 12/3 with a promised delivery date of 12/7 with installation. The customer service at the store was great, so no complains on the store associates. We were very excited to finally have a working washer as we had already been without one for several days. Today, on the day of delivery; we moved all our plans around to cater to the estimated delivery window - with anticipation that we would indeed receive a washer. When the delivery guys showed up they apologetically notified us that this washer was severely damaged at the warehouse. They told us they tried to get a different unit in the warehouse but their supervisor instructed them to “delivery it to the customer anyway, because they might take it with the damage.” The delivery guys showed us how it was so dented in the backside that the drums inside the unit would not work properly with this kind of damage. Our interaction with them was basically a formality because they knew no one would accept this. I am incredibly frustrated with whoever the supervisor was who suggested that: wasting the delivery guys’ time, the customer’s time, and ultimately, the company’s time. They rescheduled delivery for Tuesday 12/9, which means because of Lowe’s negligence, I have to wait longer and rearrange work plans for that day. I called the Lowe’s customer service and explained our situation to see what customer service could do to right this wrong their company made and was told there was nothing they could do. For spending several hundreds of dollars on a unit, I would think the level of customer service would be gracious and understanding and offer some sort of compensation for their error, but I was wrong. This complaint is not against the Lynchburg store associates or the delivery guys — if I had a way to contact their Lynchburg warehouse supervisor to make this right, I would. This experience has left a bad bad taste in our mouth for Lowe’s which is a shame, because we’ve never had an issue with their services/products before.
