  I don’t do reviews, BUT, in this case I will make an exception. I am a busy contractor and I don’t have time to waste. Making some extra house keys has been on my to do list for awhile. I don’t like trying new things either. So, I tried the minute key machine in my local hardware store to just see what it could do. It was so easy! I was in and out with three keys in 3 minutes. It would have taken me 10 minutes to find someone to cut them for me. All three worked when I tried them, too! I’m a believer in the minute key machine now. Who says you can’t teach an old contractor new tricks of the trade? Highly recommend.

  Nice concept. But when it offers you a free key you’ve already selected the amount of keys you need and that key has to be of the key you have in the system. Not ideally the way I think it should be. The machine is very slow. I realized that Lowe’s still cut keys on the next isle and had them do it. They copied three keys and cut them on the time it took this machine to make three exact copies of the same key. So.....in a pinch yes it is nice but not cost effective. Also I will add that the saved electronic copy of the key is a real nice feature. Especially if you loose your key often, but we don’t. That’s why we have extra copies made in the first place.
