Two employees at this Lowes stand out every time were there.
Donna (usually in the Paint Dept) was straightening shelves and immediately smiled and guided us to the dept. we needed without looking it up. Thanks, again, Donna! You are an amazing person and employee!

They don't even deserve a 1 star but unfortunately a rude obscenity isn't available. So I went into the Galax Store VA this past Saturday 4/4/26 to purchase a new dishwasher while my mom was visiting. After getting the receipt, we noticed there was no installation fee. I went back up to the girl & inquired about this & she stated there was no installation fee unless it was being hard wired. So today 4/6/26, Lowes delivered the dishwasher but told us they weren't installing it & just left it in the middle of my kitchen. I called the Galax Store & a manager named Will had the balls as well as the stupidity to accuse me of lying & he said he wasn't going to do anything to help me. I cursed him out for calling me a liar then called the customer service number. I'm a lot of things but I'm not a liar. Lowes customer service also refused to do anything for us plus the customer service manager was too afraid to get on the phone. I'm never using Lowes again cause this company does not take ownership of their mistakes nor do they value their customers. Worst bunch of unethical, moralless, inept, childish & immature group of people I've ever had the disdain to deal with.
Response to Owner. The only things you can do is fire the manager Will in the Appliance department at the Galax VA location as well as send me a hand written note informing me of his termination as well as a written apology. But I know that's not gonna happen since that would require Lowes to take ownership of their actions. I will never shop at a Lowes again & I will inform everyone I know to boycott your stores.

I do not appreciate self check out though, I do not work for Lowe's! And the monitor at self check out needs not to ask if I scanned everything....if you don't trust me to do it then have your employees check me out!!!

Not impressed. I called to get information about an appliance. An AI answered the phone. It took forever to ask for customer service. I finally spoke to customer service and asked for a manager. She started to say different names and again I said A manager. They put me on hold for to long and hung up. I did talk to someone in appliance and they transfered me and no one answered. Horrible customer service for a million dollar company.
