  John Christensen was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the process of selecting a La-Z-Boy recliner. He took the time to clearly explain the differences between the chairs and all the available options, which made the decision much easier. His patience and professionalism really stood out. He’s a true asset to the La-Z-Boy brand. I’m so happy with my purchase that I may be back next year—tax return in hand—to add another recliner to complement the new one.

  Highly recommend La-Z-Boy Gainesville and their furniture, especially for new parents. Shopping Experience: I agree with an earlier review of the store associates being “knowledgeable and friendly staff who are attentive, but not aggressive.” Our Gentleman was this to a T and we really appreciated the approach as we were very much in research mode. Ultimately we found a power recliner that met the criteria we were looking for and decided to purchase. Product Review: I was pregnant with our first and we decided it may be nice to invest in an individual power recliner for nursing, hence the purchase. While pregnant the chair was great and very comfortable. However, this investment really shined post delivery. I had an unexpected.c section and couldn’t use my bed. Being able to sleep and recover from major abdominal surgery with this chair has been a life saver. Because it goes so far back (almost flat), has smooth power movements, and is so comfortable, it has enabled me to recover, sleep, and take care of my baby in a safe way. We feel like this chair has earned back the investment and more. Whether you are looking for just a comfortable addition to your home, something for nursing, or recovering from surgery, we highly recommend La-Z-Boy and this store location!
