On our way out something caught my eye and I asked a question. Employee wasn’t quite sure on answer and we left. They seem to advertise a lot about doing the planting for your lawn/ yard. Maybe that’s what they specialize in. Went down south to purchase plants.

I have purchased hundreds of dollars worth of plants and plant supplies from here and there has only been ONE instance where the staff was not down right rude and unwelcoming. They do not greet you as you walk in, they never ask you if you need assistance and God forbid you actually do need assistance they will treat you as if you interrupted their vacation. After years of giving this place a chance I will just drive the extra few miles to smaller nurseries that actually want my business.
- SRShann RJun 8, 20241.0I asked for landscaping to create a living barrier fence…I got some small shrubs and plants that will never do the job…even in a few years. 5 out of 6 of my echinacea plants died and a rose bush died within the first year and a second is barely making it. My “expert” consultant planted flowers and bushes that require full sun in an area that gets shade so they’re not thriving either. This…all after I had to have them come back because they literally planted a dead plant in the ground from the get go. I understand that things take time to grow, however, I did not get what I specifically asked for and paid for. The plants and shrubs that were chosen do not reflect the outcome I asked for. Also, the plants were barely placed in the ground. The root balls of the majority of the plants were practically planted above ground. No wonder everything is dying. There was zero effort to plant anything properly. Oh…and I had to have them come back to reposition my large trees. They were planted crooked. Please do not waste your time or money with Meadows Farms. Choose another nursery and landscaping company. Otherwise, you’ll be $6000 in the hole and will still have to replant and purchase new plants like me to get what you originally asked for. I’d be happy to call and speak with someone about this.
