We’re down to pick up a couple hundred dollars worth of plywood. I need them cut the length and rip it .I was informed that you no longer do that. You’ll rip the panel, but you won’t cut it to length sighting you can’t spend a lot of time cutting panels for people you don’t have the manpower. And yet the lumber desk got five people standing around drinking coffee playing on their phones three people standing in the corner chatting about what’s going on in town. The floors are covered in garbage the isles are blocked with used carts customer service at this store has gone right in the crapper in the last two years. They’ve lost thousands in business from me from now on.

My Mother in Law purchased multiple appliances from Lowe’s, and unfortunately we chose to use their third party company to “install” the appliances. The installation company refused to install the fridge because “there was no shut off safety valve” even though there was in fact one, it was just underneath the floor in the basement. Refused to even go downstairs and check. After calling Lowe’s and complaining about the terrible service they basically told my MIL they couldn’t do anything on their end. After calling the company and being transferred 5 times she finally spoke to someone. This entire process has been such a pain, and have felt like neither Lowe’s or the other company have taken any of our complaints seriously. Do yourself a favor, and install the appliance yourself or get an actual professional to do it. Sheesh.

Placed an order for a storm door March 15th to arrive on the 30th. never showed up and after several annoying calls talked to Laura store manager. She called factory and said the store will have it April 8th, Now today the 1st I get an e-mail stating it will not arrive until the 23rd. That's 5 weeks. Very poor customer service

We recently became stewards of a 1910 brick beauty in the heart of Farmville, a place where history lingers in the walls and a quiet, undeniable energy hums through its streets. There is something rare about this town… a sense of belonging that arrives before you even realize you’ve been welcomed. The people we’ve met along the way have been nothing short of extraordinary.
As with any new beginning, ours required the practical rituals, appliances, decisions, comparisons… the familiar maze of tabs open late into the night and aisles walked with more questions than answers. That search led us to Lowe’s here in Farmville.
And then…clarity.
In the middle of that noise, a calm and genuine voice cut through: “Do you need some help?” It came from a young man named Tuffy.
What followed was not a transaction…it was trust being built in real time.
Tuffy carried a rare combination: knowledge without ego, expertise without pressure, and honesty without agenda. He didn’t sell us… he guided us. Walking us through the nuance of each brand, the trade-offs, the realities, the things most gloss over. he brought both precision and care to every recommendation. Nearly an hour passed, though it felt shorter, because the experience was anchored in something increasingly uncommon: authenticity.
And the outcome was simple.
We made a $5,000+ decision with complete confidence, and Tuffy is the reason why.
There’s a broader lesson here. In a world where companies invest heavily in systems, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning, the true moat is still human.
If Lowe’s, or any company, wants to build something durable, something that quietly outperforms the competition over time, the answer is not more noise… it is people like Tuffy.
Because in the end, customers don’t remember the aisle.
They remember the person who stood beside them in it.
This is now our place. And Lowe’s in Farmville…because of Tuffy…has become our go-to.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
