- DRDavid RoopJan 2, 20265.0I spent a considerable period of time before going to the store (Fairfax VA) researching possibilities: rocking, lumbar, headrest, size, etc. Lazy Boy, despite the unimpressive name, had 100 years of experience, and had dedicated recent years to getting all the details right. At the store, I was greeted by Michael after about five minutes of exploring on my own, which was perfect, because I don’t like being sold. Michael answered a few of our questions (e.g. where are the chairs for people between 5’ 10” and 6’ 2”?), then left us alone to try different chairs, and ultimately sell ourselves. At the end, we had questions about different color options and their prices. He answered all the questions, offered coverages we didn’t select, like against pet damage, and gave a discount, only he would have known, one slightly better than the 30% advertised. Great website, store, salesperson, experience. And we will have a custom chair, because it’s common enough, in about a week.
