- LBLiz BlackMar 10, 20261.050/50 compost topsoil. The "topsoil" is 100% clay. I have very little hope. Its rock hard when it dries. Some clay bolders i can't even break apart with a shovel. I can see a little leaf compost. Maybe15%- 20% leaf compost at best. Scam. Do not use for gardens!!! The same auto response makes me think a lot of the positive reviews aren't real.

Their topsoil is clay mixed with leaf mulch. I NEVER would have bought 7 cy had I known it was clay. It's MISERABLE to plant in, in planters. It gets hard just like clay.
- WSWilliam SimpsonSep 20, 20223.0Ordered their screening topsoil/compost blend for some grading and seeding I needed to do in my yard . . . delivery was fine and product was fine EXCEPT the product was riddled with large chunks of red clay which of course slowed down my shoveling and raking/grading significantly . . . I think when they "scooped" up my load, they caught some of the clay earth on their lot beneath the product . . . very frustrating as it slowed me down considerably, required ALOT more bending over than was necessary (to pick out the chunks off the ground), and actually short-changed me probably 1/2 yard of product due to these large clumps of red clay that were part of my total yardage, but which could not be used and had to be discarded.
