    Not a fan of local businesses using out of town contractors who ultimately up charge for services cause there overhead is so high and using a contractor that’s 1 hr 30 mins out is definitely a no no

    I have always had nothing but problems with Lowe’s every time I go. Last week I bought a couple of large, heavy cabinets. I asked the cashier if there was someone who could help me load them in my truck. She said she would get someone. 15 minutes later another customer helped me load them in my truck. How does a store like Lowe’s not have employees who can help load your truck? Today I went in to get a quote for a door. The other Lowe’s I went to did not have anyone available to help me, so I went to the one in Chester. To no surprise, there was no one there available to get me a quote either. How can a store like Lowe’s only have one person who knows how to look up the price for a door? If that one person is not available, then they pretty much turn you away. The “Pro” team is a joke. Not one single person there knows anything about construction. Their so called military discount seems to never apply to anything you purchase. I am never again going to waste my time walking into Lowe’s.

    Getting washer and dryer combo. Lowe's always have huge selections and great deals. The sales people, Angi and Mark was remarkably great. Friendly and knowledgeable. They really cared!!! Awesome teams so far every Lowe's I have been.

    My experience with the Lowe's store in Chester regarding kitchen cabinets was extremely disappointing ,and I do not recommend purchasing cabinets from this location. Initially , the sales associate ,Kim, was helpful however that changed when I requested to remove an item from my order. At the time, the order had not yet been processed by the cabinet manufacturer. Kim appeared agitated by my request and stated that it might not be possible to make changes. She suggested that my only alternative was to accept the unwanted item and return it to the store afterward. I asked her to contact the cabinet company ,which she did , but claimed she received no response. I then requested the phone number and contacted the cabinet company myself. The representative informed me that there was a misunderstanding or a lack of training on the salesperson's part regarding how to delete an item from the order. I later called the local store and spoke with a manager who also seemed agitated, though he acknowledged that the order needed to be cancelled and resubmitted. Kim eventually returned to work but implied that the issue occured because I requested a change. Additionally the installation list was corrected because she copied another customer's order word for word and included it on my order. I had to point out some items were on the list that was not in my kitchen. I had to ask her to remove those items so that I would not be charged. Later, the Lowes order status showed the cabinets as being delivered late Dec. but status showed not shipped. I contacted cabinet company regarding conflicting status. I then received call from Valerie (local store) forming me that cabinets were delayed until Jan 19-23 due to holidays It is unclear why I was not proactively notified of this delay. Subsequent calls from Valerie and Ashley at local store were condescending and offered little assistance. Overall, the lack of communication, professionalism, and accountability made this a very frustrating experience.
