- EGelliott glazerDec 18, 20253.0This hobby lobby was just ok. It was very busy and not a lot of help available. The hobby lobby i STRONGLY RECOMMEND is the Chesterfield store! They are fantastic! My wife found a cabinet door handle she fell in love with - bird on a branch. We searched all over the Richmond area looking for them. We found 7 in various stores. We needed 37. I called the Chesterfield store, rather than drive over to see if they had any. I was in Petersburg so it was a good drive over, thus the call. I wasn't sure it would help as other stores I called either didn't pickup or couldn't find many. At Chesterfield, I called and they immediately picked up. They put me in touch with Rufus, their person who knew about this inventory. Rufus was unbelievably fantastic. He said they didn't have many only 3 or 4 BUT he offered to hold their sale price as a rain check for me and order the amount I needed. And he did! The order took about 3 weeks to come in, and I called each week just to check on it. And Rufus was on top of it! He remembered me, my order and had status each time I called in! Then when order came in, they called me to let me know. My wife went over to pick them up, no issues! This is a great store, well managed, and I highly recommend!

Our home Hobby Lobby didn't have them and had no idea when or if they would even get them. So we decided to go to the next nearest Hobby Lobby in Richmond, VA. The first location didn't have them, so we went on to the one in Ashland. To our delight, they had all of them in stock. I told Wifey that in the future, if you want something that our Hobby Lobby doesn't have, we're coming here first.
