  It's a very clean and organized store. About half of what they sell are In-House brands. Some are pretty good like the Elfa. The stuff they sell that isn't in-home is also good but marked up (SimpleHuman). Don't expect any help from the staff. My recommendation is to go to the store for inspiration, take some pictures and then go on-line to get the help you might get from an associate ten years ago.

  I want to recognize Wendy and Cindy at the One Loudoun Container Store. They exemplify the meaning of customer service! And the entire experience was just a lot of fun with both of these ladies in attendance. I look forward to visiting the store again...even if I'm not shopping for anything.. but just to stop by and say hello!

  I had a wonderful experience at the Ashburn location of The Container Store. Everyone there was incredibly friendly and helpful. The GM, Cindy, and my salesperson, Sharon, helped me find the perfect baskets for my mudroom. The system worked so well that I decided I wanted three more of the white 12x12 lined rattan baskets. Sharon told me the larger Container Store in Reston has a few in stock, so I drove there the next day. Unfortunately, the experience at that location was very frustrating. I repeatedly asked for 12x12 white lined rattan baskets, but the associate kept directing me to plastic baskets and seemed confused about the product. Even while holding the correct style (in a different size), she continued searching for the wrong item and told me multiple times that the size I bought didn’t exist. Rather than spend more time there, I returned to the Ashburn store. Cindy and Sharon immediately understood what I needed and quickly ordered the additional baskets for me online. If you love The Container Store and want knowledgeable, efficient help, save yourself the time and go to the Ashburn location. Their customer service made the entire process easy and pleasant.

  Got profiled at the store, went in to look around and this lady with grey hair started eyeing me and my friends immediately. We started looking at drawers and me and my friend saw that the lady was looking at us from the end of the isle. Me and my friend then went to the other isle and saw some chairs and sat in them to test them out and she said if we weren't gonna buy it then get off which is fair. We went to another isle and she was still following us. Another man then asked for her assistance so then she left us so we went to the other side of the store. We were just looking at some wheels ($28 per wheel) and then she went up to us and told us to get out for no reason. We asked why and she said we "looked" like we weren't gonna buy anything and looked like trouble and said if we wanted to play with toys then to go somewhere else. Keep in mind, all we were doing was looking around and not bothering anyone. After we got kicked out, we went down the sidewalk to check out the other stores and then when we walked back down the sidewalk. Then we saw two people that she was having a conversation with walk out with nothing in their hands.

  Insanely high prices for some plastic containers (same things can be found on amazon for 1/2 the price), over $20 for one singular wheel that goes on a separately bought rack. Worker followed us around, profiled, and kicked us out of the store for looking around to buy an organizer.
