  This review is for both the self-service kiosk, and the in-Lowe's assisted MinuteKey services: I've gotten maybe a total of about 15 keys made and fobs duplicated. The fob duplication is awesome especially for apartment dwellers, as losing one's keys/fobs is something that unfortunately happens and apartments charge ~$80-200 for each replacement. The fobs available come in the form of a traditional keychain fob, stickers, and cards. The kiosk has a decent variety of key styles, and even more with assisted service. I did have one key that despite pushing in what I'd consider reasonably enough where the machine clamped and duplicated my key, I guess I didn't push in enough so the final was off about 1mm and therefore the 3-4 keys I got didn't work. I contacted support and they easily gave a full refund. I reduplicated, ensuring to really push in, and those keys worked fine. Prices overall are okay, even better when buying 3-4 or more keys. For something you shouldn't have to do often, the price is worth it. The finishes on the keys are somewhat durable, but paint definitely will come off or at least chip/flake. The fobs are on the more expensive side at about $30 each, still cheaper than the replacement cost. I've had no issues with those. MK also offers digital backup options but requires some account creation or something, rather than a personalized retrieval link. I didn't end up going through the whole process for whatever reason but the option is nice to have.
