- RRRFeb 18, 20261.0I went in Lowes store in Abingdon Virginia on January 29 and paid my account off. $9,000 dollars. The money came out of my checking account immediately but 20 days later they haven't posted to my Lowes account. I found this out today when I tried to purchase and was declined. I spend thousands at Lowe's every month. I feel like they held my payment to charge me 20 days extra interest. I spoke to the manager and he said his hands are tied and gave me a number to call. Lowes pushes these credit cards with a lady running around the store soliciting customers to sign up. After that you're on your own. I will be closing this account and taking my business to Berrys and Home Depot.

The drill had been previously opened, and used- covered in grease, fingerprints, scuffs, and I absolutely do not appreciate paying NEW Prices for USED items. This is also a "brushed" drill, so it's consumable with usage, and already had wear/tear. I'm very disappointed and will be returning the drill. - Update, I returned the drill and they didn't give me any issues for the return, so I added two stars for that, at least the return process is convenient.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
