Online it says Lowe’s has a paint color guarantee. I brought back the original can within 30 days. The lady at the counter was super rude and immediately told me no. I asked her about the paint guarantee and the employee next to her mentioned that he thinks we could do it and started talking to the paint workers about it. She marched over there and shook her head no to all of them and wouldn’t let us. Valspar’s website even says you can do it at Lowe’s if it’s within 30 days. And yes, I checked to make sure the exact kind of paint I bought was eligible and it is. I’m very upset about my experience

I know that the store is not to blame. I am just telling you my experience so that you do not buy the LG brand, it is the worst.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
