Why even have a saw to cut wood? If you ask the employees for a couple boards cut suddenly it’s the worst day of their lives. There is only like three employees that even know how to use the saw and they will make you wait 30 minutes to an hour if they actually help you.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
