I love Lowe’s! As a contractor I spend a lot of time and money there. I want Lowe’s to stay a hardware store and not a used car dealership! Let me explain. I was at the store for 30 min buying some parts for a plumbing project. I was approached three times, twice by the same guy and once by a girl, asking about the condition of my gutters and offering an inspection. He simply wouldn’t accept “no thanks.” I can’t even relate it to a used car dealership because I just bought a used car and it wasn’t anywhere near that much pressure. Go back to being a hardware store please!

Website and store database says store has "southern yellow pine" 2x6s. This is a lie, it is Doug Fir. Apparently they assign two different products the same product number which causes the customers and the employees and the website to believe something is in stock that isn't actually in stock. How a retail company can make this type of basic mistake is beyond my understanding.

I'm super bummed to have to give a bad review. I've had several less than great experiences with Lowe's in the past (I have remodeled three homes), so I always drive to the next city to go to Home Depot. Decided to give this Lowes a shot when they had a better deal for Black Friday. The staff was helpful and kind, got the delivery of a new dishwasher scheduled. It came on time, I had paid for them to haul off my old dishwasher but they couldn't because it hadn't been uninstalled. Thats fine - they said they would come back to pick it up when I uninstalled it. They delivered the new dishwasher Monday morning, I worked all day, had a busy night then went to work on Tuesday. I uninstalled the old dishwasher Tuesday night, and installed the new one that night only to find that the new dishwasher was faulty and some of the buttons were broken. It was 9:30 pm so Lowe's was already closed... Called the next morning and told them what happened. I had a super helpful associate - the same one that sold me the unit - who said they had one more of the same dishwasher at the store and that they could try to send it when they picked up my old washer. They would just swap out the broken one for one that works. Later that day I found out that her manager said that I was stuck with the crappy broken new dishwasher because "it was outside of the 48 return window." Delivered on Monday morning, but didn't call until Wednesday morning. I wasn't even asking for a return - it was just giving me an appliance that actually works. I'm a pretty reasonable person - but this is one of the more shocking things I've dealt with. $1000 dishwasher that doesn't work and I can't give it back...gee thanks. True insanity. Skip this store and head to Home Depot in Centerville - they understand how life works. UPDATE: Lowe's responded with a number to call to help resolve my issue. Called the number and they said they can do nothing to help because the option to replace the broken brand new 2-day old dishwasher was "greyed out". This just feels a little crazy - most rational humans would agree. All the good experiences I had with people in store buying the dishwasher has faded from my memory, replaced by bad experiences on the phone with customer service since. Changing review to one star.

Love the brand, love the veterans discount. Hard to find help though, waited for someone to cut chain.

So been a lowes shopper for awhile now had a few bad experiences lately they won't honor prices when the sign shows the picture of a specific tool but has the cheaper item number under it false advertisement and the store manager was extreamly rude about it. Then tonight bought a wrong item and went to return it and the associate at returns said they could not give me store credit for it and it would have to go back to my card. I then asked if there was anything they could do a manager came over was again extramly rude saying they couldn't give me store credit and it then would have to go back to my card . When I started to get upset she then said we can give you cash instead why was that not an option from the get go when I first asked for in store credit and mind you I had my receipt this store is getting awful guess I need to shop else where from now on
