    It’s a shame that a big mega corporation like Lowes does not compensate its employees based on performance that is why they absolutely have no help. I asked the carpet guy to figure out how many yards of carpet I needed for a 12 x 17 room and he had no idea how many square feet were in a square yard. This is unacceptable. How do you expect people to come and shop at your store when there are so many other local options with skilled and qualified employees available to assist you. I bet you could take half the employees and lay them off and pay the other half a better living wage and the sells would go up. I know they won’t read this because they don’t care. They’re too big to care but yes, I feel better being able to vent.

    October 1st and off to a great start! The store is always clean and organized with friendly staff. This morning at 6am a redheaded young lady with glasses at self-checkout greeted me right away, helped me, and even made some small talk. It was such a nice way to start the day—I hope she gets recognized for her great customer service! Thanks she made my day.

    I went to Lowe's on the 15th of September and needed a piece of plywood cut. Mind you the store wasn't busy either. I saw two employees in the lumber department and approached them and inquired about how to go about getting a piece of plywood cut. One employee stated that they weren't able to assist me. I asked why and he stated they wasn't able to and that was the end of our conversation. I went to the casher and asked if anyone could cut it for me and she asked for help on the radio. In between five to ten minutes, I then asked for a manager. The manager in the store at that time came on the radio and without asking the casher what the issue was. He rudely blurted out; (I can't cut a piece of plywood). I immediately left and filled a complaint with Lowe's corporate. Last time I checked Lowe's was a business and wanted to make money. Apparently not! Vernal Lowe's you get an F grade for failing in customer service. I hope in the future you can do better. The GM really needs to retrain the employees at store 2834 or the GM and store management needs to be reprimanded or fired...
