I had a full cart of supplies and came to the front to check out only to find that there was no option but self-checkout. Management had not scheduled enough help for there to be a checker, leaving just one person to manage all the self-checkout lines. I do not work for Lowe's! Don't make me do your work. Quit being cheap and higher/schedule enough help provide customer service at checkout. I do not blame the employees, they were very friendly and polite and sympathetic to me having to check myself out. If I only have one or two things to buy, I do not mind the self-checkout. But when I have an entire cart with 60 or 70 items, I do not want to be the checker. Get it together Lowe's or I will find another supplier that is willing to give me the customer service I am looking for.

I asked the carpet guy to figure out how many yards of carpet I needed for a 12 x 17 room and he had no idea how many square feet were in a square yard. This is unacceptable. How do you expect people to come and shop at your store when there are so many other local options with skilled and qualified employees available to assist you. I bet you could take half the employees and lay them off and pay the other half a better living wage and the sells would go up. I know they won’t read this because they don’t care. They’re too big to care but yes, I feel better being able to vent.
