- CACasey ArcherApr 2, 20264.0I recently used Extra Space Storage in Syracuse, and my experience was a mix of top-tier service and the sobering reality of today’s real estate climate. The Good: Facilities & Service First and foremost, the facilities are excellent. The site was incredibly clean, well-lit, and felt very secure, which provided great peace of mind. The customer service was the standout for me. The staff was professional, helpful, and went out of their way to make the move-in process seamless. It’s clear they take pride in how they manage the property. The Reality: Increasing Rates The only significant drawback has been the price increases. While I understand that the current real estate market and rising property values are driving up rates across the board, the jumps can be quite steep. If you are planning for long-term storage, definitely factor in that your initial "teaser" or promotional rate will likely increase as market conditions shift. Bottom Line: If you prioritize a clean, safe, and professionally managed environment, Extra Space Storage is a fantastic choice. Just be prepared for the pricing to fluctuate in line with the broader market.

I got a good price when I first got my storage there was a lot of fees at the very beginning and even though the proce was low the price just went up from $72 to $95. I had to get my stuff because I bought a home and it the price would of stay low I might of stayed but with prices rising it's hard to pay that for me, but overall it was good.
