- STSri Harsha Tallapragada1 day ago1.0This company sent me a locksmith (David) to enlarge my door’s deadbolt bore diameter so that I can install a smart lock. Instead of working on what he was hired for, he quickly removed the metal reinforcement ring on the brand new smart lock, fiddled with its internal connector wires, and did a terrible job at putting it all back together. After his handling, the new lock wouldn’t power on (it's a >$300 smart lock!). He also tried to steer me toward a Zelle cash payment and quoted ~$280 to rekey my other lever cylinder to match with the smart lock's key, both from the same brand (which I declined). I ended up paying $184.30 ($80 service call + $75 for labor + tax) for work that wasn’t performed and had to uninstall everything and reinstall my old lock to secure the door. Unprofessional and careless—would NOT recommend. I expect a call from the customer service and a refund of the charges.

Add to that the attempted upsale of finishing the key and removing barbs and sharp edges for another $3, and the incredibly unpleasant harsh flashing LED light which made me have to turn my back to the machine until it was finished, and I'm wondering how they've avoided injury lawsuits. The only positive part of this experience was walking away with a key that does work.
