I’ve been trying to get my floor installed and called to try to get some basic pricing, I was transferred seven times and everyone stated they did not know any of the pricing and I would just have to get my home measured first, I informed them I didn’t mind getting it measured, but was just looking for a loose square footage cost for install, I waited on hold another 20 minutes, the person that answered said, typically only the managers know these things, I asked if I could speak with the manager and then they hung up on me

Visited the Lowe's Riverton location on 03/11/26, around 16:00, to purchase a 1.1K generator. Just wanted to thank Lowe's for using some of their "In Store Nails" to drive another spike in their coffin, forcing me to leave the store, without the generator. The Honda Generator I wanted to buy costs 1.1K, at Lowe's. To buy it I had to wait for a staff employee to come to the shelf and unlock the shelf, this being the first overt statement that Lowe’s customers are thieves. I was then told that for my "Safety" and "Convenience" I could not remove the product from the shelf to examine the product details that only the staff member cpuld remove the product and they were required to remain in contact with the product the entire time it was off the shelf, second overt statement that Lowe’s customer are thieves. Finally, I was told that I could not put the product in my cart and push it to a checkout stand. That the staff member must put it in my cart and they must push it to the checkout stand, third overt statement that Lowe’s customers are thieves. Perhaps, Lowe’s is overly concerned that customers are going to walk out of the store, without paying for their purchase, because they no longer have any cashiers. If this is worrisome to the management of Lowe’s, to the point that they must institute insulting procedures that demean their customers then they should go back to friendly cashiers to help make sure their customers feel wanted when handing over 1.1K of business instead of feeling insulted by offensive in store security procedures. At the very least they should be honest that their actions are security procedures instead of offering further insult to their customers by suggesting that they are stupid enough to believe that these obnoxious procedures are a beneficial customer service. In the end this experience turned out good for me as I left the Lowe’s store, went to Home Depot, got a big brand name generator, for $300.00 less than the Lowe’s model, and got to look it over, pick it up, put it in my cart, walk to the checkout lane, where I was serviced by a cashier who gave me a heartfelt thank you for doing business with the Depot. Moral is if you want to feel like a customer, who is important to a business, skip Lowe’s and do the Depot!

Return policy sucks. There's a reason why Home Depot is busier.
