When I arrived, I had several questions about a Lazy Boy sectional that I had seen at RCWilley. It appeared that all sales associates were busy talking to customers or wrapping up deals. After 15 minutes or so, Lori finished with her customer and asked if anyone was helping me. I told her no, and I had lots of questions. She answered all my questions and educated me about some options I hadn’t considered. I made my decision, and purchased a sofa/love seat set. It became apparent that the other associates were not working with other customers, but rather, visiting with each other. Lori and I sat down to do my financing. When approved, Lori began the following online paper work. A couple of times she paused and asked one of the other associates, ( a twenty something blonde girl) a question about next steps. The younger blonde girl was very rude to Lori, right in front of me, three different times, because she had to put her phone down and be bothered with Lori’s questions. From my point of view, I was grateful that Lori took the time to be certain she was following the correct procedure, as I live 250 miles away and was leaving from the store to head home. I was absolutely stunned and frankly, disgusted at the blonde girls lack of professionalism. It was my opinion that the blonde girl was bothered that Lori was completing another sale, and was put out that she had to answer any questions for Lori. That young, blond girl is no asset to your business. Honestly, had Lori not been so likable, and thorough, I probably would have left and made my purchase at RC Willy. Lori truly saved the deal and I made my purchase because of Lori’s knowledge about the furniture, her professionalism, and treatment of me as her customer. I don’t care that Lori was double checking that she was managing the ordering platform correctly. I appreciated her thoroughness, since I had traveled such a long distance. Highest praise to Lori for a well deserved sale! If she ever leaves Lazy Boy, I will follow her to buy furniture at her next job! Linzi Freestone
