  Super helpful customer service! I lost my key so they helped me get in and were very prompt about it. Glad I decided to rent a space from this facility :)

  Highly recommended Extra Space Storage Orem Utah! Joe helped me over the phone for an easy setup online, appreciate his help with a super smoothe transaction. Super convenient how Joe helped me & gave excellent customer service with the best first month deal!! I felt his smile right through the phone! We also met Casey on-site when we unloaded to our unit! Needed help to replace light in our unit, and he was there in a flash to take care of it & we also appreciate his great service making sure we felt welcome there! Everytime I call there Casey helps me over the phone & goes the extra mile as well to help me! They have great employees there. I remember calling a few months back on info & Tanner gave great excellent service too providing all info and ways to help me once I decide, which also made me not forget where to go to for storage space out in Utah. Love using the mobile app to conveniently open electronic gate to enter and also how easy to just scan from your phone to open your unit. This place is beyond great!

  Update: I called the number that they provided in their response to this review. It led me right back to Casey and he said that there was not another conversation to be had and that the response to this review was just an automated response from the corporate office. So in my mind it is just an attempt to seem like the company worked out a solution to their mistake because they know that there are not any further responses to a Google review. So again, renter beware. Make sure to watch your communications and transactions with this company like a hawk. There is no telling how much they will try to raise your rates. They have easy to use facilities. I just wish they were more honest with their business dealings. They raised my rate 55% after 4 months. I noticed the increase after a couple months of charges as my account was set to autopay. I called to ask why and the property manager Casey Lucas said that they sent me a notice in the mail and that was my new rate. He then said that the increase was too much of an increase. I asked if he would be refunding me the difference because of the mistake that Extra Space Storage had made. He said he wouldn't. He had his district manager Keri Mounga call me a few days later so that I could make sure that I was getting the right information because if a business admits to making a mistake and overcharging me I would expect a refund but Keri said that Casey was correct. Keri said that my rate was too high but she still couldnt refund me the difference. She said that she was on my side but company policy did not allow her to issue any refunds. So essentially, Extra Space themselves is just a cash grab company who is trying to sneak as much money as possible out of their customer's accounts. So essentially, be careful, they can send you a postcard in the mail saying that your rent increased to $1,000 a month if they want and if that payment goes through they will keep your money. This is by far the most sneaky storage company I have worked with. I will be moving out when I have time and I will never recommend anyone to ever go here.
