When trying to get the address of the seller, we discovered, the Facebook Marketplace seller was trying to scam us. So, we got online and visited Lowes Website and found a new freezer that was on-sale for only $150 more than what we were going to pay for the USED, four-year old freezer. We contacted Lowes and spoke with Sabrina Bee in appliances and explained that we had rented a trailer to buy a freezer on Marketplace, but the seller was trying to scam us. We told her we had seen their freezer on-line. As many companies do, they offer an on-line special, but may take several days or a week or so before you can have it delivered which also includes a deliver fee. We asked Sabrina if they had the same freezer at their store in Riverdale. After looking at their inventory, she told us they had it in-store, but was more expensive than the on-line price. She, spoke with her manager and agreed to sell us the freezer for the same as the on-line price and would have it ready to go if we wanted to pick it up. We drove to the Riverdale store. Sabrina met us in appliances. She was very friendly and offered us another discount if we applied for the Lowes credit card, but regardless of our decision, we would still have the discount on the freezer. Her approach was very casual on the credit card, but didn’t try to force the credit card. Sabrina, escorted us to the cashier. While we were paying, she coordinated with two of her guys who loaded our freezer on the trailer. She went above and beyond to help us. We ended-up paying less than the on-line price after we received the discount for applying for the Lowes credit which was a little more than what we would have paid the Marketplace scammer. We also received a large Lowes Bucket of products as a gift for applying for a Lowes credit card. Thanks to Sabrina, she made our purchase an entirely great experience. Before buying on Facebook Marketplace and potentially getting scammed, you might want to consider looking at Lowes. Talk with Sabrina. Thank you Sabrina!

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
