Renting here after four months, they’ve increased my rent by over double. When I called to ask why, they mentioned “demand for units,” keeping up with “industry standards,” and a comment that it “could’ve been more.”But when I looked at available units at this same facility, my size of unit is being marketed online as available for my original rent price. Having a business model that preys on offering a low rate, letting renters get their items settled in & then turning around & doubling rental prices is some pretty shady, disingenuous practices. Please don’t waste your time. Find a place that will offer a reasonable rate & keep it consistent.

My only frustration is that every six months I get a notification from Extra Space corporate that my unit cost will increase about 30%. I have been fortunate to work with the local staff to get that lowered to about a 5-7% increase but I have to do this every 6 months. This isn't a sustainable model. At some point we will have to move our business elsewhere.
