I am sort of budget minded and had serious concerns about rental rate jumping with only 30 days notice. she gave me tips to lessen the chances of that happening. If not for that, I probably would have passed on Extra Space Storage. I was not too jazzed about the $29 "admin fee". Lets face it, thats just a bogus fee they tack on to pad the transaction. Same with the $19 pad lock. I could buy 3 or 4 of them online for that much. She said he would have the locality reach out to me about that. but so far no word. I won't be moving anything in for the next two months as things have to be shipped. So time will tell how good they are. but if they are good, I will get a few more units. I am just wary of a business model that has fees like the above or reserves the right to increase rent with only 30 days notice. Yikes!
