  This was an awful business. Do not even bother working with them. We try to return the key and he purposely ignore the call for a months. Then when returning the key he lied about the sixty dollar deposit and try to scan my daughter for not returning deposit. Therefore only giving us half of deposit that we agree. Do not use this storage unit it’s a rip off.

  In the summer of 2018 Snowy Range Storage Was hit by a string of robberies. My fiance unit was robbed of thousands of dollars of outdoor equipment and precious family heirlooms that he had just received from his grandfather who had passed. We notified the authorities and upon their arrival we were informed by the officers about other units at Snowy Range Storage that had also been burglarized over the past few months. The owner of Snow Range Storage never contact my fiance about the burglaries and the imposing threat it could have and did for my fiance. This caused terrible emotional damage to him. The money value in what was lost was a blow, but compared to the memories and emotional attachment that were taken from him cost him more emotional trauma, pain, anger, sorrow and suffering than any dollar value ever could. Upon investigation of my fiance storage unit, it was revealed that the thieves were using the unit next to his to brake in and slowly steal iteams over the course of a month. As a daughter of 2 law enforcement officers I am well aware of the risk one takes by having a storage unit, so thankfully nothing of mine was stolen because nothing I had in the unit was of value to burglars. Thieves often stake out and profile storage units. My fiance and I were planning to move so he decided to store valuable things in the unit. Another unit shockingly had an engine lift stolen from it. Educational scores for a season burglar. To steal an entire engine left without being caught speaks volumes on the safety and security of Snowy Range Storage. The negligence on Snowy Range Storting to not inform their customers of the imposing threat of their items being taken from the unit that they are renting from a storage company they thought they could trust is deplorable. The officers unfortunately have found nothing of my fiance property. Perhaps the police department was overwhelmed by the sheer number a Burghley's that happened at Snowy Range Storage. My father was the Sargent for Sheriff's department in Laramie and has done many investigations on burgalese to storage units. He is one of the last of the good ones, he was VERY successful in catch the perp. As I said this is negligence on Snowy Range Storage. After this heartbreaking lose my fiance now Lessons to my advice. There is always a risk that someone will try to break in to a storage unit no matter amount the security. My advice is don't go cheap. Pay for that security and that reputation. Also get renters insurance; throw aprivate insurance company or check to see if the storage unit offers insurance in case of fire or theft. Snowy Range Storage is not legally responsible for any compensation to their customers for any stollen property. My father's success in identifying and apprehending the perpetrators were on storage units that were on the up-and-up. Good security surveillance, and cooperation with law enforcement to ensure their customers will keep coming back. The pictures attached are a few of the items that were stolen. Along with my fiance his outdoor gear that was stolen is a large raft with a motor, life vests, oars, lures give to us by my father. An expensive inflatable air mattress for my fiance pick up beds that was a graduation gift to my fiance from my father. Those items alone racked up to over $1,000. THOUSANDS DOLLARS of backpacking gear that took years to acquire, gone. It is estimated that we lost close to $3000 in marketable goods. The most crippling was priceless family heirlooms. Snowy Range Storage could have prevented this and they did very little as far as comfort or so regret over our loss.
