  We had the most wonderful experience visiting the West Virginia nursery today! We are plant lovers who have moved from California to Harpers Ferry and are learning about gardening in a whole new climate. There was an enormous selection of plants that gave us a great start on what would do well here. The very best thing was the staff who had years of experience with local gardening successes and failures - surely saving us time and money from future false starts. We especially enjoyed a long conversation with Dom who shared so much hard earned practical knowledge with us. We will be regulars for sure!

  They helped me find everything in that scorching heat. They even told me their big sale was coming up, if I wanted to wait. Nice folks. Good selection

  6/17/26 I walked into this location today looking for a variety of different house plants. Of course two teens or what looked to be teens ( male and female ) running the cash register. Do you think they greeted us? NOPE. They were so focused on the soccer game that they turned around and saw us walk in & proceeded to their conversation. Needless to say I will never come back.

  I went to the main desk to order mulch, just like i was told to do last year. There was an older, balding, silver-haired man at the desk who ignored my greeting, walked past me without a word, and then proceeded to tell the employees in the next area (he was loud enough that i could hear) that there I was at the desk. Really terrible customer service, and I was really not happy about it. In walks the young lady from the outside register area. She came over to help, handled my request, and "managed" me like a champ. I didn't catch her name, but she has short hair and wire framed glasses. Meadow Farms gets five stars from me today because of her.
