- MBMichael BrooksMay 12, 20265.0When we built a house in 2018, we had Chimney Mechanix come out the following spring after our first winter of fireplace use. Zach was the tech sent out. After viewing chimney from roof and examining what he cleaned out of the chimney he commented our fire’s were not burning hot enough. He noted chimney not full 3’ above highest roof point and likely cause as fireplace not venting correctly. Fireplace company apologized for this and promptly came out to fix. Zach comes out every few years. He’s prompt, thorough, leaves the fireplace area spotless. He’s observant and a good trouble shooter. The report, with photos, he sends afterward documents our fireplace health.

When Craig was finished the work area was clean. You could not tell anyone was here except that that the insert was clean. Hats off to Craig and partner. We highly recommend them!
