FAKE PRICE MATCHING. Their price matching is deceptive. I'm buying deck materials, and Home Depot has all the same items at a lower price. I called customer service to price match and gave them the Home Depot SKUs. The customer service person said they can only price match for the same model number, but as it turns out, Lowes has incorrect model numbers on every item, even though they are the exact same item!! It's a good way to avoid price matching, but very dishonest.

Most experiences have been great until recently during a trip to look at refrigerators. The pushy aggressive older man working in that department literally tried to guilt trip me into a credit card before we even had decided on anything. The last time we purchased an appliance was about 18 months ago from a really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly gentleman who actually listened to what our needs and wants were. For that experience I would have rated Five Stars! Our experience with him was why we wanted to come back to Lowe's to shop for a new fridge.
But this Dennis guy got really demanding saying we had to come back on a certain day and time so that he would get our sale. I didn't think Lowe's paid on commission and when I looked it up, they absolutely don't. so whatever this guy was up to made us not trust anything he was saying. We got out of there and will probably just shop online or elsewhere from now on if that's the help that is in the appliance department.

After three (3) years of operating a business and dealing with Lowe's, (this) Lowe's has become the bane of my professional existence.
I help run a local company and we order a fair amount of product through this Lowe's.
We are officially looking for alternative suppliers after YEARS of continually-declining service quality.
ONE of the many, many issues I've had with this Lowe's:
After waiting nearly an HOUR (not for the first time) for an ordered Item (which I was repeatedly told was "ready for pickup"), I decided to finally make an official complaint (something I should have done long ago).
After four phone calls and multiple Lowe's associates telling me "No, you need to call THIS person," I finally reached someone (not a manager) who heard my complaint and said to expect a call back.
That call never came.
Nearly two weeks later, I called to follow up and RE-STATE my complaint. I was assured something would be done.
More than another week later (now nearly a month), I'd STILL yet to receive any closure.
I call again. I explain the situation AGAIN (for about the 7th time)(and again not to a manager). This time I'm assured "Ashley," a manager, will call me back.
She never did.
What happened INSTEAD was that the Lowe's "complaint" Department called SOMEONE ELSE from my company. That call from Lowe's was in regard to a "grill that was delayed."
Nobody from our company ordered a grill.
This created absolute confusion that wasted MORE of my time dealing with MORE of Lowe's failures.
But, after the end of THAT call... I finally got my closure:
After NEARLY a month, and 3 attempts to make ONE complaint; and a combined total of nearly TWO HOURS of time wasted dealing with LOWE'S failures... they offer me a $15 gift card--a fraction of the money we've lost having to deal with LOWES' failures.
This is just ONE of numerous complaints I have about this particular Lowe's.
