- MEMyron EdwardsMay 24, 20241.0DO NOT SPEND MONEY WITH THESE UNPROFESSIONAL, LYING SCAMMERS. We needed a lock changed on a storefront building urgently, and called a locksmith to change the lock. The individual was highly unqualified, and changed the lock improperly. After supposedly completing the service, the lock came out of the door, prohibiting us from locking the door. Please see the image below of the locksmith’s horrible work. Please see the image below of the total lack of professionalism from the locksmith when asked a simple, respectful question. The cost of this disaster was $225.51. When the issue was brought to the locksmith’s attention, he was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and very hostile. This locksmith essentially came to replace and break our lock, and stated the solution was for us to pay an additional astronomical fee for him to fix the lock—which I doubt he’d be capable of doing in the first place. Then I had the back and forth phone tag trying to get another locksmith to urgently fix the lock with the same company for simplicity’s sake. It became evident Key Me wasn’t intending on anyone coming to fix the lock, so I pursued a refund. After calling over 5 times to initiate a refund, I gave up as they continued to transfer me to dead-end lines—each time the representative deeply assuring they’d help me, only to find out they are pure liars. This is perhaps one of the most unprofessional and dishonest businesses I have ever come across in Milwaukee. Go elsewhere for a locksmith, it’s not worth the time, money, or energy to deal with such people.
