I could not be more excited for my impending move to MKE after my experience with Ruby and Tony. They made it so easy for me to access a storage unit to accommodate my things until my apartment is ready. This is probably the worst place for storage. They glam it up with drive thru but they scam clients. If you get the online deal, make sure to move your stuff out before the first 3 or 4 months. Otherwise, they double your rent and claim they notified you. They raised my rent twice in one year! They say they send a notification in the mail but I never received one. They have no problem sending notification through email for rent coming up or calling you if you're a couple days late but they notify you about increase of rent through snail mail? They're a dishonest and scheming company and I'll suggest any other storage company before this one. Don't fall for it!
Follow up: It's now 2 weeks after I have moved my stuff out and the manager is calling me to offer for me to pay half of my rent for payment to move out. I've already moved out! The amount that they're offering me to pay is how much I had originally paid for my storage. This is ridiculous! Why are you still trying to get money from me? This company is the worst. Smdh Stop harassing me!

ASK FOR RUBY!!!!! I recently rented a unit at Extra Space Storage, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Ruby made the entire process incredibly easy from start to finish. She greeted me with a smile, took the time to explain everything in detail, and answered all of my questions with patience and professionalism. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making sure I found the right storage solution instead of just rushing me through the process.
The facility itself was spotless, well-lit, and felt very secure, which gave me a lot of confidence in storing my belongings there. Ruby also walked me through the access process and shared helpful tips that made moving in much easier. Her friendly personality and attention to detail really stood out.
It’s rare to receive customer service that’s this genuine. Ruby went above and beyond to make what could have been a stressful experience simple and enjoyable.
