  I found these two Ariana Grande shirts while thrifting, and neither of them fit well, so I wanted to get them combined and add extra life to them. Lacie did such an amazing job bringing my dreams to life, the sewing is done so well and looks amazing. I’m so happy with how it turned out. I will Be back with more alterations. I highly Highly recommend Lacie and her services. Both shirts are medium and combined fit L/XL now.

  I had a dress tailored for an upcoming black tie event. The dress was altered exactly how I wanted it and was a fast turn around. So glad I found this place and will bring items here in the future.

  I cannot recommend A Special Touch enough! I came in with my wedding dress expecting to need alterations, and Lacie met me right when they opened. She even helped me lace up my dress because it arrived without the corset lacing started, which was incredibly kind and immediately put me at ease. After carefully looking over my dress and seeing it on, she told me something I honestly wasn’t expecting to hear: she didn’t think my dress needed any alterations. Instead of trying to sell me services I didn’t need, she was completely honest and said it already fit beautifully. She still took the time to answer my questions, gave me great advice on how to wear my dress comfortably without a bra, and made me feel so confident before my wedding. That kind of honesty is rare. It would have been easy to recommend unnecessary alterations, but instead she chose integrity over making a sale. That says everything about the type of business she runs. If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, kind, trustworthy, and genuinely cares about her customers, I would recommend A Special Touch without hesitation.   Lacie was fantastic to work with! I actually needed my dress shipped to me and unfortunately, the first dress was labeled incorrectly and was too small, causing a minor panic for me. Lacie helped take the dress’ measurements and made suggestions on how to make it work despite it being so small. Working with the bridal shop, I got a new dress sent and Lacie was able to work her magic fast and actually had to size the new one down, working with the boning of the corset, and hemmed 6 inches off of the bottom because of how short I am. The train was also so long that Lacie made 3 bustles for me. I really appreciate her efforts and beautiful work that contributed to my special day out in Hilton Head Island, SC!

  I had an amazing experience getting bridal alterations here! Lacie created and attached tulle sleeves with snaps so I could detach them if I wanted to. It turned out so perfect! I waited only about a month and the price was fantastic compared to others in the area.
