    Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed,  To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing.     They stopped honoring the lifetime warranty on their hand tools that includes their Craftsman line and their Kobalt Tools Lowe's lost a customer, because I won't buy tools there

    Stopped in to get sealant for my outdoor wood furniture. Attendant hemmed and hawed about whether they had any (!), but took me down the aisle. When I asked if maybe someone else could help (since she was not portraying confidence), she said she was in charge of the department and she would know. Geez! so you’re telling me that in late Spring, in a wet climate, a huge home improvement store does not have even one sealant for outdoor furniture? That’s just ridiculous.

    I come into Lowe's Once a Month EVERY Month to do a major Haul of Cleaning Supplies and Items I need for the house. I come to this Lowes Because it's right by my house. It never fails. There is a Lady she is of Asian decent wears a tone of makeup with the short Gray Spiked hair. The minute I get to checkout she calls for multiple workers to come and stand by the door. I normally go through self checkout but this evening I saw her there so I decided to go through the regular line. She goes and gets a separate cart and comes to the line to try and monitor my transaction while there are customers in the self checkout she should be tending to. I let them know I don't want her help at all. Im looking dead at her and she tells one of the employees to ask for my Id to use my Lowes card. I've had this card 7 years and not once have I ever had to show ID. Never in self checkout of in the regular line. It was done on purpose. I had an issue with her previously when she followed me around the store asking me are you ready now to check out. I was over by the tools and checkout is on the other side of the store. It is definitely because Im black, A man with a Cart full of stuff each time. They need to teach the employees specifically her that not ALL BLACK PEOPLE ARE THEIVES. I hate to feel Uncomfortable in a place I'm just trying to get my stuff and leave. They need to check her and the manager Donald unfortunately is Worthless.

    We were on a family trip to help Mom and Dad find a replacement Washer. It was wonderful to have a variety of brands, form factors and technological approaches to the wash. Narrowing down our selection was easy. As children, agitator-style machines were the primary choice but required more water to do the job. Then, after an unsatisfying eleven years with an impeller-style machine, it was clear, they didn’t want to repeat that. My parents were game to try something new (to them) and chose a front loader. Luckily we were able to find Alan at the help desk nearest to the Appliance Department to complete the purchase. He walked them through financing options and delivery. We were also pleased that with installation, the delivery guys would move the old machine to a different spot around the house or (for a $50 fee) haul it away for recycling. Thank you Alan for helping my parents out! ———- Our visit didn’t end there, we moved on to the Garden Power Tool section to update Dad’s lawn trimmer to zero emissions option. Since the machines were behind lock and key, we required extra assistance. Thank goodness Donald was within a few steps away and radioed for help. Soon Mymy and the required security team member opened the display for us to pick the perfect set! Even better, there was a deal that included an additional battery to power up the machine for no extra charge. The security guy even fetched a shipping cart to help us haul the purchases to my waiting truck. Dad was so happy after this shopping trip he gave Mymy a hug. Thank you Mymy, Donald and the other two staff members involved with that particular sale!
