The manager is a complete psychopath. He will pretend he does not recognize you every time you come in, even if he has just seen you the previous day. After 5 months of being a customer there and stopping in more than 10 times, he suddenly said he did not recognize me and that my dog was not a service dog, despite the fact that she had been with me every time I visited, was with me when I purchased the unit, and they even made a note of her on my file that she would be accompanying me every time. He followed me to the elevator and threatened to call the police if I did not leave, to which I had to quote ADA laws and one-up him. At that point, he backed down. I went up to my unit, gathered my things and moved out that day. Prior to that, there had been numerous issues with being unable to access the facility during business access hours. The manager (who is also the only employee there) takes unscheduled two hours breaks every day and locks down the entire building, leaving you unable to access your unit DURING ACCESS HOURS. So if you rented a u-haul and planned to move out on a given day, you could end up getting screwed and either be stuck waiting outside for hours, or possibly not be able to access your unit at all that day. Since the manager is the only employee, if he is sick, no one will show up to open the storage facility and you could even lose access to your things for a week. Literally go anywhere else, they do not operate within the law here and every time they leave you without access to your unit during scheduled access hours, they are in violation of the lease they made you sign.
