Jerry our Lowe’s Delivery Master. Remarkable. Our Large Gravel Order Delivered with Exceptional Care, Capability & Kindness.
With some trepidation, we ordered over 1,000 pounds of gravel in 22 bags. We’re seniors and we needed the gravel delivered as close to the landscape area where it would be placed, as was possible. This required navigating a narrow driveway, while carefully avoiding ornate brickwork, mature tree branches and various shrubs and perennials.
Not only did Lowe’s send our delivery driver, Jerry, equipped with a forklift, uniquely engineered to manage difficult terrain and tight spaces, but Jerry was perhaps the most capable, skillful, caring and kind delivery person I’ve ever encountered. He took the time to understand exactly what we needed, and then skillfully fulfilled our hoped for objective, doing so with remarkable care.
Lowe’s has a very special human resource in Jerry, and I must further thank Jerry’s manager for recognizing his talents.

Avoid the lumber section of this store if you are an average homeowner just trying to get a job done. The staff gave me inconsistent responses to my questions regarding the cutting of a sheet of plywood which led me to haul the sheet up to the register to purchase it and then haul it to the back where it gets cut only to be told that they wouldn't make the cuts that I needed, which the original staff member I spoke to said they would be able to do (one lengthwise and two lateral to shorten the resulting halves to 6' and 5'). Zero exceptions will be made to the two cut rule and there is no option to pay for an additional cut. Had that been communicated at the outset, I could have just spent my money down the street and saved the time and effort.

I am very disappointed in the purchase of my Weber barbecue from Lowe’s Aurora store in Seattle Washington. I ordered the barbecue. It was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday two days ago that did not happen then it was supposed to be delivered on Thursday yesterday that did not happen then I was promised by a store representative that would be delivered on Friday today and that didn’t happen so so now I have to wait wait till Monday, May 11 and I’m not even sure that’s gonna happen. We will see very disappointed.
