Built a new home and there was only one Company to call when it came to needing the lawn Hydro seated. Justin and Bruce came out and did a magnificent job. They were communicative on their early arrival time and they were efficient while on site. They were also respectful of the property, ensuring proper areas of driving for set up.
We have not used this company in many years, but are happy to see that their core values are still the same. Thanks guys for another job. Well done.

35 - 40 yards of mulch is a lot to haul and spread in multiple places in my yard. Having Joe & Bruce come out, walk my property and blow bark in all of the places around my yard where required saved me so much time not only hauling and spreading, but also finding someone to help me do it all. I was impressed that they did it all in approximately 3-1/2 hours (whereas it would take me days to complete the project). I would highly recommend and will be using them again in the future. Thank you.

Ryan and Micheal did a fantastic job of barking our large property. They arrived at the committed timeframe and proceeded to walk the property with us. We pointed out various areas that we wanted them to pay particular attention to. I was home throughout the duration of job and witnessed the care they took when cleaning up around the perimeter of the house and planter beds. Our property looks wonderful! I highly recommend utilizing Hydroseeding and Bark Blowers.
Frequently Asked Questions About Hydroseeding & Bark Blowers
What are the benefits of bark mulch compared to compost mulch?
Bark mulch effectively suppresses weeds and helps maintain soil moisture for your plants. Compost mulch, while excellent for moisture retention and providing essential nutrients, doesn't offer the same weed control benefits. Compost is particularly beneficial for improving soil quality in areas with poor conditions. Contact us today to learn more about our professional bark blowing services!
When is a good time to plant grass?
The ideal time for grass planting is when nighttime temperatures consistently remain above 42 degrees and daytime temperatures exceed 60 degrees. If you have any questions about hydroseeding for your lawn project, please don't hesitate to call our experienced team today!
What kind of information do you need to provide an estimate?
To provide you with a complimentary estimate for our hydroseeding or bark blowing services, we'll need to know your property's location and the square footage of the area to be treated. Please reach out to Hydroseeding & Bark Blowers today to begin the estimation process!
What is hydroseeding?
Hydroseeding is an efficient, one-step application process that combines grass seed, fertilizer, mulch, water, and soil amendments to establish new lawn areas quickly and effectively.
What is bark blowing?
Bark blowing utilizes air pressure to apply organic materials like bark, mulch, and other landscaping products through a specialized hose system. Industry research from Building Indiana indicates this method is more economical and time-efficient than manual application, particularly for larger projects, potentially saving you up to $64 per cubic yard. Consider utilizing this cost-effective service for your next landscaping project!
Can I walk on hydroseeding?
Walking on hydroseeded areas is permissible, though we recommend doing so only when the surface is dry and with careful, gentle steps to protect the developing grass.
Am I overwatering my hydroseeding?
A reliable method to determine if your hydroseeded area needs water is to check soil moisture. If the soil feels moist to a depth of one inch, additional watering isn't necessary. For more detailed guidance on hydroseeding maintenance, please contact our team today!
What erosion control solutions do you offer?
We recognize that each property presents unique challenges. Our team will conduct a thorough assessment of your specific site conditions and recommend the most effective erosion control strategy, which may include hydroseeding, strategic mulch applications, erosion control blankets, or other specialized methods.
Is hydroseeding better than sod for long-term results?
Hydroseeding typically provides superior long-term results because it allows grass to develop directly in your soil, creating stronger, more natural root systems. This method is also more cost-effective for covering large areas and offers enhanced erosion protection as the vegetation establishes itself.
What is beauty bark?
Beauty bark is a decorative mulch product made from shredded tree bark, primarily from fir or hemlock species. It serves multiple purposes in landscaping: enhancing visual appeal, conserving soil moisture, preventing weed growth, and providing insulation for plant root systems.
