- GGGinger GowerJun 29, 20262.0An update to the resold sofa: The district manager was called by the Olympia World Market and a solution looks to be in the works. They found another sofa, the same style at another location and are shipping it to the store I purchased it from. It took a number of phone calls but it looks like they are trying to resolve the issue. As soon as I get the actual sofa delivered to me I will edit my comments. I'm hesitant to respond positively since I thought i would be enjoying the new sofa a week ago and was shocked when it had been taken by another customer. I am trying to work out a problem with the Olympia World Market. I purchased a sofa/sectional last Friday and had made arrangements to have it picked up by a delivery service on Monday. Over the weekend even though the sofa had been tagged SOLD an employee resold the sofa. When I called Monday to confirm the time of pick up with a WM employee I found out my sofa had been resold. Monday I called them back as I found that other World Market stores had the same sofa and asked them to have it delivered to their location. It was their mistake after all and I shouldn’t have to pay to have a delivery service haul it from Seattle to my home in Hoodsport, Wa. The delivery fee would be astronomical from that distance. I’ve called the store 3 times now and I’m starting to wonder if the manager is ever going to get back to me.
