Don’t love corporate Lowes’ lean into automation making everything more difficult, but the actual employees at the Olympia location are great! Had an issue with an online pickup order but customer service associates and manager Shawn were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to get things solved. Thank you!

Female service person at Paint counter very rude. Two young guys really great a few days ago, kind and polite, so I added a star just for them.

Not supporting a store that sells stuff that advertises to be put in soil and is not biodegradable. I don't want the homeowner before me to put this crap everywhere. Neglect their yard. And I new homeowner am digging up piles of tire shredded material in the lawn and flower bed.

⭐ 1 STAR — I WOULD GIVE ZERO IF GOOGLE ALLOWED IT. AS A PRO MEMBER. What a joke.
After approximately 25 YEARS as a Lowe’s customer and account holder, I closed my Lowe’s account three weeks ago. After our latest experience with the Olympia store, we will not be shopping at Lowe’s again.
We purchased a dishwasher that turned out to be defective. A replacement was arranged, along with installation of the new dishwasher, removal of the defective one, and a credit to our account.
Instead, we are now charged for TWO dishwashers. The defective dishwasher is still in our home. The replacement is sitting in a box in our garage. Nothing was installed. Nothing was removed. And the credit has not been completed.
This was the FOURTH visit to our home over what should have been the simple purchase and installation of a dishwasher.
Every time Lowe’s requires me to be home because of another mistake, I lose a workday—approximately $400 in income. Between the appliances, installation fiasco, repeated appointments, and lost work, this dishwasher has effectively cost us well over $2,500—and WE STILL DO NOT HAVE A WORKING DISHWASHER.
Today, rather than simply reviewing the account and correcting the problem, an assistant manager attempted to tell me we needed to hire a plumber and electrician, contradicting what had already been arranged with Lowe’s. When I challenged the inaccurate information, I was patronized and promised a follow-up that never came.
For clarity, our experience with the third-party delivery/installers is NOT the issue. They have been helpful. This review is about the astonishing lack of communication, coordination, accountability, and basic customer service from the Olympia Lowe’s.
Mistakes happen. Competent businesses acknowledge them and fix them.
What is unacceptable is making mistake after mistake, inconveniencing the customer repeatedly, charging them for two appliances, failing to provide the agreed-upon service, and then treating the customer as though THEY are the problem for expecting the company to honor what was promised.
Twenty-five years of loyalty ended because Lowe’s apparently made keeping our business less important than simply taking responsibility and fixing a dishwasher installation.
Account closed.
Customer lost.
And we will take our business elsewhere.
Frequently Asked Questions About Lowe's Home Improvement
How do I find a product online?
Search using a keyword, Lowe’s item number, brand or manufacturer’s model number. You can also browse by department to shop Lowe’s large selection of items.
How do I check my order status?
Check your order status online by entering the order number or logging in to your MyLowe’s account. You’ll receive email updates if your order status changes.
How do I know if my order is ready to be picked up?
You’ll receive an email with pickup instructions and the location of the store you selected when your order is ready. You can pick up your order during store operating hours at the designated pickup area. Just provide the order confirmation email or order number with your photo ID (state driver’s license, military ID or state ID). For your protection, only the cardholder or an authorized user of the credit card may pick up the order.
How do I return or exchange an item?
Most (but not all) items can be returned within 90 days. If you bought something from Lowes.com, you can start a return online in your Order History before shipping it back to us. For in-store returns, you’ll be asked to provide proof of purchase at the customer service desk. The return barcode for the order works, too, and can be found on your Order Details page.
How do I cancel an item from my order?

Find your order and select Details. In the Delivery section of the item you wish to remove, select Cancel. Find your order and select Details. In the Delivery section of the item you wish to remove, select Cancel. Select a reason for cancellation and then select Yes, Cancel. You’ll receive an email with the updated order information shortly after.
How do I locate information on recalls and product safety news?
Recalls and safety news for products sold through Lowe’s are posted on the Lowe’s Recalls and Product Safety News page.
How do I place an order with a tax-exempt account?
Visit the customer service desk in store to apply for a tax-exempt account.
It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
