I'll start out by saying, they have some really great and helpful employees, but I had to wait for over 40 minutes to get help at the paint desk and employees were wandering around the entire time and no one could help me.

I routinely leave this store empty handed because finding an employee to assist is nearly impossible. I have given up attempting to ask where anything is. The only thing more difficult than finding an employee, is finding one who understands the differences between an ordinary ceiling fan and a bathroom ventilation fan, or a fiat vs round shovel. I bet the very minimal staff that can be observed on the floor spend 90% of their time acting as a personal shopper for customers that have no idea what they're looking for and account for 2% of store revenue. Meanwhile myself and other customers who simply need something unlocked so we can spend hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars on any of our multiple trips to the store weekly stand and watch in disbelief. Home Depot addressed the lock issue by allowing customers to summon help by scanning a QR code. Lowes seem to prefer loyal customers wait or walk out exasperated. I've stuck it out with this store because it's most convenient for me travel wise, but enough is enough. The icing on the cake is the pro parking routinely being taken by small cars and people loading next to nothing. Management here clearly doesn't care or isn't capable of identifying areas in which sales could be greatly increased with no additional expense to the store or customers. Home Depot it is from here on out.

I generally prefer Lowes to Home Depot. Up to now. At the least, excepting this location. I just left Lowes on 196th after inquiring if they carried a screw I need or any of the same size and was told they do not. No problem, although surprising. This being after the 6 or 7 employees who stood at the entrance when I walked in, looked towards me so knew I was amongst them, weren't bothered to greet me with a "hello", or "welcome in", a smile, or any actual eye contact, and, after a few minutes when an employee came near enough to assist, I was told to wait a minute when I started to ask for help. Ugh.
