I just moved to the area so I've been doing a ton of shopping for appliances and everything that you need for a new home. Lowe's has given me the worst experiences in this process. I had an incredibly frustrating time dealing with their customer service over an appliance delivery. I recently received a new freezer that was missing parts. That seems simple enough, they messed up and they should fix it. But they didn't offer any reasonable options. Their only solution was that I bring the appliance in to the store for an exchange. Well, I can't fit the freezer in my car and the exchange would take another three weeks to receive. That would be six weeks just for a freezer. This seemed a little unreal so I stopped by the store to ask. They said the same thing, couldn't do anything. When I suggested that I could buy it from somewhere else in half the time she said, "well that's your choice." Well yeah of course it is. Incredibly useless customer service. I didn't know customer service this poor still existed at the big box stores. Specific to this location: I was in the store at 9am one morning and needed help with an item that was locked away. I couldn't find an employee anywhere. It turns out some brilliant manager decided to have an all hands meeting at 9am. Thankfully an employee noticed me looking for help and he broke away from the meeting to get what I needed. He even talked how their meeting was pointless and was taking away from their ability to help customers. The managers could probably learn a thing or two from that floor employee. Lowe's has everything that I need at pretty good prices and it's a shame that they're now at the bottom of my list because of their poor customer service. My recommendation for others is to shop elsewhere. But if you do get an appliance from Lowe's, use all the time you need to ensure that everything is correct before the shippers leave. For my delivery, they weren't even there for three minutes and I didn't have a chance to look at the appliance thoroughly enough to find the issues. The shippers will say, "just call the number if there are problems," as though everything will be fine. But in reality, it will likely be a huge headache for you to deal with.

We want to give a huge thank you to Wyatt, the Sales Floor Manager at Lowe's. As new DIY homeowners, we have a lot to learn, and Wyatt has been incredibly helpful, patient, and kind every time we've needed assistance. He took the time to walk us around the store, help us find the items we needed, and answer all of our questions. He also helped us locate sale and discounted items, which we really appreciated. Wyatt's knowledge, wisdom, and patience have made a big difference and given us confidence to tackle home improvement projects ourselves.
We'd also like to thank Elijah and Trenton for their hard work helping us load pea gravel and pavers. Their assistance was greatly appreciated and made our shopping experience even better.
Thank you all for the outstanding customer service. Employees like Wyatt are the reason we continue to shop at the Lowe's Kennewick branch.

Dangerous shipping methods! Bought 2 boxes of lightbulbs, thrown in a plastic bag. Totally smashed (either at the warehouse or in transit), see attached photo. Opened the bag, Glass Shards went all over our Kitchen counter and in our Cat's food and water dishes. I cut my hand on a Glass Shard opening the bag. We spent almost an hour cleaning up the glass. Called the Store, Manager told me it's Store policy that, even though I have a photo of the packaging and smashed boxes that I would have to drive all the way across town to physically return these during the afternoon commute time. (Very Poor C/S Service at the Kennewick, WA store). The reason I bought online is that the physical store is quite away from me. The contact phone numbers on the online order are NOT WORKING! I'm not driving all the way across town for a $25.00 order, not worth it. I will never order or buy anything from Lowes in future, and I will make sure that everyone I know hears of this story and see's my cut hand, and Glass Shard Photos.
Home Depot or Ace Hardware has NEVER treated Customers like this, guess where I will shop in future.

1. We bought a fridge 2 weeks ago from Lowes because our fridge broke down.
2. We get a a call that the Fridge was dropped on the truck on the day of scheduled delivery so we rescheduled another fridge delivery in a week..what a pain to live without a fridge with a family of 6 but mistakes can happen. We understood.
3. Second fridge delivery arrived with a dent in the front. We refused delivery and had them haul it back to the truck. (We now have NO fridge for a sons graduation and family in town so we all had to spread coolers throughout the house!!! And eat take out pizza which cost hundreds for a part of 15.
4. Called & complained and was given a 10% discount. Not nearly the cost of all the takeout food for the past few weeks but better than nothing. A floor model or something to use to cool our food would've been better!
5. FInally get the new fridge delivered TODAY but it's missing the waterline and the delivery guys tell us they cannot take our old fridge or give us a waterline because we didn't pay for it but we DID pay for it. They took our word for it and hauled out old fridge at least thank goodness.
6. Called Lowes to complain and was told they could possibly get us a waterline today since we DID pay for it but the manager forgot to add the haul away and waterline charge in the new exchange contract. 😵💫
7. Asked for corporate number to make a formal complaint and Brandy from Arkansas answered and gave me HUGE attitude and in her words said "I was reading your contract WHILE you were talking and I don't know WHY Lowes said you could get a waterline today. We DON'T DO that at Lowes! You gotta wait til the 11th.
*At this point I am mad and it takes a lot to upset me.
I will NEVER buy from Lowes again. EVER.
Please avoid! They are not the store they once were. Delivery is awful. Customer Service from the corporate end doesn't exist. 18 minute hold times. Attitude. Mistakes. Complete and Total incompetence.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I received while placing a fencing order at Lowe’s.
As a first-time customer purchasing fencing materials, I relied on the associate assisting me for guidance. Unfortunately, the employee appeared to have very little knowledge about fencing products and did not make any effort to find someone more experienced who could help answer our questions. Throughout the interaction, he seemed annoyed and uninterested in assisting us. Based on the information he provided, we placed our order and were told that all 22 fence posts we needed were available in-store for pickup. However, after placing the order, we received a notification stating that only 2 posts were available and that the remaining 20 had been canceled. This was extremely frustrating, especially since we made our purchasing decisions based on the information provided by the associate.
In addition, after reviewing our order more carefully, we discovered that several important fencing components were never added. We were missing two gate panels as well as the necessary gate latches/locks. These are essential items that should have been discussed and included when planning the project.
I understand that not every employee will be an expert in every department. However, if the associate was unfamiliar with fencing products, I would have expected him to seek assistance from a coworker who had more knowledge rather than providing inaccurate information and leaving our order incomplete. This experience resulted in wasted time, frustration, and delays to our fencing project. I hope Lowe’s will address this issue and ensure that customers receive accurate information and proper assistance when making significant purchases.
