There is a woman here named Pam who is apparently the manager, but treats, employees, and customers like Garbage. Last time I checked, Hobby Lobby was a Christian company with Christian values, and this woman doesn’t have a Christian value anywhere in her body. Horrible job Hobby Lobby. I hope that she gets taken care of because I’d like to be able to go back to my local Hobby Lobby store without witnessing horrible behavior from your management.

Whoever is running, the store should be fired. I think her name is Pam. She is a horrible, horrible manager to her employees witnessed her screaming at an employee today on the floor in front of everyone. Who even does that I won’t be going back to this Hobby Lobby ever again they need to do some retraining on their management

Witnessed a Manager named Pam berating an employee on the floor today. In my opinion, this type of behavior is unacceptable. I can’t imagine why a manager wouldn’t pull someone aside to speak with them instead, she decided she was gonna do that in front of everyone in the store. I love Hobby Lobby, but I certainly won’t be coming back to this one anytime soon. Maybe once Pam is gone I’ll reconsider, but this type of behavior is unbecoming an unchristian like and does not represent Hobby Lobby and their mission. I hope Pam gets some retraining because what I saw today is completely unacceptable. I can’t believe they actually made her manager this isn’t even something I would expect an associate to do.

I wanted to post because I was concerned about the behavior of a managers on my recent visits to Issaquah Washington. I believe her name was Pam unfortunately during my visit what I witnessed should never be seen in any Hobby lobby store anywhere. I witnessed Pam berate more than one employee on the floor in front of guests. Seeing as I worked in retail and took a Company public on the NASDAQ if I saw one of my managers treating my employees, this way in front of guests, I would immediately fire her. She berated, belittled and talk down to each employee that she spoke with, if it were me, she would’ve been fired on the spot. I just felt that everyone should know the behavior that was conducted towards the hobby lobby employees in front of guests should never be acceptable. The only thing she didn’t do was cuss on the floor. In my opinion if you need to speak with an employee about their behavior, it should be done behind closed doors, not in front of the entire store and your guests. I did take a moment to ask one of the employees that she belittled and berated in front of guest if this behavior was common and she told me unfortunately yes quite frequent. Since I know that hobby lobby has high Christian values and you expect your employees to hold themselves to a higher standard I thought we should let the world know what type of behavior that Issaquah manager feels is acceptable to do in public. In my opinion, she shouldn’t be working for Hobby Lobby. She doesn’t support Hobby Lobby values, and that is very clear from her behavior in front of guests. Hobby Lobby should be ashamed of themselves for hiring somebody like that and putting them in a management position.

This is a decent store, and they have a good selection, but one of the things that I absolutely can't get past is how slow the checkout process is! They don't use scanners, which means that you have to watch the employees punch in codes and prices. They never have enough staff there, so inevitably every time you leave, you're going to be waiting for at least 10 minutes in a line of other people as you watch the poor employees function like it's 1952. The philosophy that the founder has on this topic of no scanners is archaic and silly. It makes for a very poor experience for customers, and they should really do better.
