  We rented our large roll-up, drive-up unit over eight years ago, and for years this was a great storage facility. When we sold our house, we added more of our household belongings. Everything was professionally packed and carefully organized on shelving so that once we bought another home, a moving truck could pull right up and easily load everything. Unfortunately, everything changed after new ownership. While we were traveling across America in our RV, we received a call giving us only 30 days to vacate because the owner needed our particular unit. Because we were across the country, the facility arranged for a mover to relocate everything, which cost us approximately $2,000. Our belongings were scattered among three different units. We were promised the move would be supervised and our shelving would be put back up. When we returned, the shelving was piled up instead of being assembled, and our belongings were stacked on the floor with heavy boxes on lighter items. We found broken antique glass, a damaged dresser, and oil spilled on my husband’s military uniforms. We won’t know the full extent of the damage until everything is unpacked at our final destination. There is also no customer bathroom or garbage cans. After more than eight years as customers, this was an extremely disappointing ending. We are relieved to finally be moved out.
