  We went to Lovesac yesterday since we just moved into our new home, and we were looking for a new couch that would last us a while. After a lot of research (and with having kids and dogs), we settled on going to see if we liked the feel of Lovesac. When we arrived, we were greeted by Darryl (sorry if I'm spelling his name wrong), and he was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. He made sure to take us around the whole store. He also made sure we understood all of the different options and ways to customize our Lovesac. I didn't even know you could do some of those things. He very patiently worked with us while our two year old and 11 month old were with us, and he even let our two year old play with the wooden blocks, which he loved! He was not pushy at all, which immediately made us feel comfortable, especially because we got a lot of that at other stores. It was a great experience, and we are excited for our Lovesac to get to our house!

  The staff was great. Extremely pleasant and professional - 5-star. The price on the other hand - 1-star. With a 40% discount a 4 piece couch (1 piece a recliner) would cost $6000. Without the 40%, $10,000! For a 4 piece couch. Not sure who the target audience is for this, but it’s not 95% of the population in the southern Virginia area.

  So we’ve been checking out Lovesac online and figured we’d stop by the store to actually sit in the furniture and ask some questions when we were ready. Upon entering, we encountered an employee who wouldn’t take the hint that we did not want to be bothered immediately. After replying multiple times that we had some options picked out online…and that we simply wanted to sit on and feel the fabric, we just could seem to do our thing for a moment without being hassled. At one point, as we were attempting to sit on a couch, the worker aggressively asked “are you looking to sit on the couches!?” We decided to quickly leave, and as we were doing so she condescendingly yelled “have a great day”. I think this is the fastest I’ve ever been turned off by a product representative in my life. What else is a show room for? Do better, Lovsac.

  I stopped by today and was greeted by friendly staff. Much to my surprise, the sofas are very comfortable (I was not expecting that). This will be on the top of my list while I am making my furniture purchase decision. I loved the recliner option and the fabric.
