  I purchased a Hayward Salt Cell from Leslie's on Princess Anne Rd in Va. Beach. on 4/26/2026. I had the previous salt cell for about 5-6 years but it stopped working. After I purchased the new cell from Leslie's, it worked fine for about 2 months before it stopped working. I brought it back to Leslie's and they tested the cell on their machine which showed that it failed. Then, they refused to simply exchange it for a new cell, I had to go through Hayward for a warranty replacement because Leslie's has a 14 day return policy. They had the identical item in stock, I have my receipt and the purchase shows in my account but again, they refused to help. The warranty replacement took nearly two weeks to arrive, during which time my pool wasn't swimmable as no chlorine was being produced and the water turned green. I installed the warranty replacement cell in late June 2026, which worked fine for about 9-10 days, then the display on the control panel showed the salt level drop from 3200ppm down to 100ppm, then 0, over the course of a day and a half. I went back to Leslie's again, they tested the cell and it failed AGAIN. I ask for a replacement or refund, but again they refused to help and said there is nothing they can do and I would have to contact Hayward corporate for ANOTHER warranty replacement. I called Hayward corporate, filed a warranty claim and now I have to wait at least another week - 10 days for the replacement to arrive. I've spent multiple thousands of dollars at this location over the past 15 years buying salt, chemicals, parts, equipment, etc. but will never return to this store or any other Leslie's for that matter. Leslie's does not stand by the products they sell. I repeat, Leslie's does NOT stand by their products nor do they care about their long-time customers. I've never had such a horrible experience and hope no one ever visits or give Leslie's their business. I've only written one negative review in my life and writing this will not solve anything, I just hope someone reads it and chooses goes to any pool store other than Leslie's. The photos attached show the FAILED test on the warranty replacement cell using Leslie's equipment, and the original receipt of the purchase from 4/25/26 Meanwhile, it's mid-July, my familiy and I haven't been able to enjoy our pool for most of the summer and Leslie's still has the $1,164.94 I spent - yet they "can't help" (meaning they refuse to help) or make a simple exchange to give me the functioning product that I paid for. Leslie's Pools - You've lost a 15+ year customer and I will do everything I can to make sure everyone I know who owns a pool never goes to your store ever again. Can't wait to read your canned response to this review.

  Very nice and helpful Staff. Military Discount and prices are good. They do take water samples. Parking is okay.

  Need to have a gasket replaced on my sand filter. These guys had no problem installing it in the key assembly. Quick professional service!
