  I saw this company at my neighbors house and went over to the technician to ask if he could take a look at my system quickly to give me a quote. The technician was rude and told me to call the office. Upon calling their main number, even though I only wanted a quote to do some repairs and for the spring turn on service, they told me They would need to do the spring turn on if they came out. I reluctantly agreed, even though he said they were booking several weeks out. I reluctantly agreed to the spring intern and service. Then when he attempted to schedule it, he told me it needed to be paid upfront. I was shocked, as I have had irrigation services from multiple companies for years and never have been charged upfront for Services that have not been rendered. I told him I would not agree to pay upfront for a spring turn on. He then told me that they would charge me $160 for giving a quote. At that point, I realized this is not a company I would ever do business with. I told the representative I would not do business with them if they charged upfront for services not rendered, and when they’ve never proven their value as a company to me. I was simply calling to get a quote… now they’ve lost my business on what will likely be a $1,000+ repair.

  Chris did a great job! Professional and timely and explained services. Unfortunately, there were two heads that were not rotating; I’m confident Affordable will schedule for repairs as we’ve been with Affordable for many years. We’ll follow up to ensure repairs are made. Thank you

  Horrible experience - do not trust this provider. The guy who came kept telling us the the irrigation system is up and running even when it was not. When I asked him to show me that the system is working he just turned up the manual valves without showing that its working from the controller. Then I had to basically tell him to open the controller at which point he realized that two of the zones are not connected. He was ready to rush out multiple times and if I was not running around with him he wouldn’t even have checked. I have lost complete trust.

  I wanted to support a local sprinkler company, but my experience was deeply frustrating from start to finish. First, they come out to do an estimate, even when I told them I have a broken sprinkler line and I just need it repaired. Instead of coming to repair the line in one appointment, this has turned into a month and a half long process because we had to wait for the appointment scheduler to find a date. It took several days, and I was not allowed to speak directly to the scheduler. By the time he called to schedule the date, I was already out of country and could not take his call. They went ahead to schedule it anyways at their convenience. I had no choice but to allow the work without being present. That turned out to be a mistake. The technician repaired one line but broke another line during the process — a net result of zero progress. Worse, the estimate included adding a new drip line, which was never done, though it was included in the estimate. Since I wasn’t there to supervise, I only discovered this after the fact. So then they sent out another technician. Again, I had to call the office and wait for a scheduler to call me back. Another technician came out, fixed the second broken line, and didn’t have the equipment/supplies for the drip line. They drive a big truck and they have an incomplete supply of materials! I’m now paying for incomplete and partially damaging work, with no easy way to even reach someone to discuss it. And it has taken an inordinate amount of my valuable time going back and forth via phone calls and waiting to get the service I need. I am very dissatisfied and next time, will look for another company. They may be affordable but maybe that means poor customer service and work.

  Affordable continues to do great work at our home. From irrigation to lighting, they have made our home look beautiful. Our initial installations were 15 years ago and since then the Affordable technicians have helped with everything from slight adjustments to updated/additional sprinklers and lights to keep up with the evolving growth in our landscaping. Most importantly, I trust the technicians who come to our home to perform seasonal work, routine maintenance, repairs and improvements. We have been very pleased with our long relationship with Affordable Lawn, Sprinklers, Lighting and Turf!
