Wanted a cheap electric screwdriver in hardware $35.00. They had it locked up. After walking around hardware for 15-20 minutes I finally found someone to unlock the case so I could purchase the item. Then he tells me they have to walk the item to the cash register I can't just put the item in my cart. I wasn't finished shopping, so unless this guy is going to walk around with me... when he told me that I said never mind, I'll just go to Harbor Freight. There are items all over Lowes that I can purchase for $35. But they don't trust me to purchase this item.
Also, they use to have the call buttons to get help. When I did find one no one came, they are few and far between.
So I can't take something put it in my cart and buy it. They lock everything up and then no one will come and unlock anything. They clearly don't trust their customers. They no longer have someone to check you out at the register so I have to do their job. All of this and higher than ever prices. High prices less service that's the Lowes way.

They should really invest in some better communication equipment. I was waiting for about 20 minutes to get some help for a stock item that was on the top shelf. I went up to the front desk and asked for them to notify someone to come by and help. They made an announcement over the loudspeaker which I thought might have gone to walkie talkies too but it clearly didn't because no one showed up for 20 minutes. During that time I tried calling the store and after jumping through the automated receptionist hoops for 5 minutes, I was waiting for it to ring for another 5 minutes before giving up. I was finally able to flag someone down that could help me after. I've been asking for help for over 25 minutes and they were able to help me very quickly. So yeah get the team members walkie talkies or something because otherwise they don't know where to be when they are needed
