I purchased a refrigerator on 7/1/26 from the Lowe's on Challenger Ave
In Roanoke. The delivery was scheduled for 7/6/26. After waiting all day for the delivery it arrived at 6:30 p.m. upon arrival we were told the truck could not make it up our driveway. (A firetruck can fit our driveway). We offered to take the refrigerator off of the truck and roll it up our drive. We were told that once the item was off of the truck the delivery people would not be able to help us. (We paid for installation). So they left. I immediately called the warehouse to have another delivery made and was told they would not reschedule until 7/10/26 (we paid for 2 day delivery). Because they were too busy. I called and wrote the cooperate office and my written messages were unanswered. I called the warehouse back and asked for a priority delivery for 1st
thing in the a.m. and was told they would make a note of my request but no guarantee could be made because they use GPS for their delivery schedule. I feel Lowe's has made no consideration for a paying customer. I feel the reason the delivery drivers would not help was because it was the end of the day and they didn't want to be bothered. I chose to buy from Lowe's and no regard has been made for me being without a fridge for 10 days. I regret my decision to buy from Lowe's and cannot understand their total disregard for customer service.

Had to ask for assistance three times to get a rope cut to length, stood there for more than 20 mins, no one ever showed up to help because no one there knew how to use the rope cutting tool. Ended up measuring and cutting it myself with a pocket knife and then got hassled at check out because they couldn’t figure out the item number until my wife walked back to the isle to get it for them. The incompetence in the store is staggering. Taking my business to Ace Hardware.

They use Flock surveillance technology in their parking lot. Creepy and unnecessary. We shouldn’t have to have our movements tracked to shop at a Lowe’s. Very shameful.

Intolerably rude customer service desk. I had already chatted with Lowes.com who approved a price match. I then went into the store trying to be helpful and save them the trouble of “picking” the item from the aisle by loading it to my cart. When I approached customer service to complete the transaction associates acted like I was trying to steal or pull one over saying things like that’s not a reputable store that you are trying to price match. After a 30 min chat again with Lowes.com purchased online through that process and again went to customer service to complete pick up keeping in mind the item is literally sitting in my cart. The associate again rudely asked what are trying to do here? To which I replied picking up an online order and provided my online order number on my phone. She answered I have no idea I wasn’t in the loop on this, the system is saying it hasn’t been picked and isn’t ready for pick up?? I had it right there all needed to happen was a simple scan or two to verify the item and I would be on my way. Eventually, another associate strolled over and scanned the item which completed the process but the whole time I was being treated like I was doing something wrong and associates were having side conversations regarding my purchase and how I was the one being rude, really?? Again I thought I was being helpful by lifting the heavy purchase on my own and not needing any assistance loading, just a few scans to complete the transaction and all would have been fine. Anyway, if you advertise and promote a price match policy do not be surprised and treat people poorly if the policy is utilized. I would like to say I would never shop there again but it is Lowe’s right? Also very convenient to my home and work so hoping this is a one off incident. However, beware if you actually need service at customer service
