Very incompotent staff here at this store. From management (mike) to assistant manager (Althea) down to returns associate (Shawna). Lowes gotta do bettter. A independent contractor that has a company account and personal purchases with lowes over 15 years now and never exprienced incompotency and such a lack of customer appreciation as i did at this lowes on 6/19/26.
After arriving to the return counter and advising associate Shawna I had a personal purchase and a business purchase I purchased seperatly and needed the refund processed seperately... issuing me seperate return receipts for both...Incompotent staff Shawna, disregarding my needed request, and decided to process both returns on the same transaction issuing me only one receipt converting the two seperate transactions to one transaction.. directly contrary to what i, as a long time customer with lowes, specifically requested of her.
When I sought management staff to wit: store manager Mike and assistant manager Althea, on the matter the nasty attitude of Ms. Althea adivised me to make a copy of the receipt and mark out the transaction on the receipt with a marker. Could I have received a more of a unprofessional ghetto resolution than this.. not!!
As mike( store manager) stood by numb.
I have work in the area of this store. But rest assure ill be taking the commmute to find a home depot when i need to purchase my material before I return to this store. Seeing how incompotent the staff, all the way up to management, is at this store.
Then assit. Manager Althea had the audacity to sarcastically tell me "enjoy the rest of your day sir" as I begun to exist the store. like really.. you and your staff just messed my day up starting it out, As I gotta now explain to my boss why a personal transaction is on a company receipt. Smh

Waited 25 minutes to be loaded just to be told that they have no one to help me...then asked if they had someone to help me load by hand and was also told no...then went to complain and asked for a store manager and waited for 10 mins with a no show so I just left...with that type of leadership its obvious why I couldn't get help from anyone else

If I could give it a 0 I would. This is the reason retail is dying. Went to buy a $39 tarp advertised in the app. Was told I’d need to buy it online and come back to pick it up even though there were 19 in store, and one in my hand. They would not honor it and basically told me to take a hike. I’m happy spending my money at Home Depot or Amazon from now on.

We visited 2 departments- household (bath and laundry room items) and Garden/flowers. In both areas customer service was either non existent (nobody cared to ask what we were looking for or if we needed any advice) or poor- the check out for 3 people took about 30 mins because the guy at the register couldn't figure out how it works. The only nice and efficient person was a girl at the returns desk.
The display of bathroom items is kinda overwhelming with all the items looking almost identical and no specs provided on the labels.
Flowers in the garden department were 50/50 for satisfactory condition. I picked some nice ones but it wasn't easy because half of the plants looked either deceased or wilted, especially in the outdoor area. The cost wasn't cheap though.
